Join in The FoodFight!

FoodFight Inaugural Benefit

June 2nd, 6-9pm
ASTOR CENTER - 399 LAFAYETTE
(Corner of 4th St + Lafayette)

FoodFight is a nonprofit combating childhood obesity in public high schools. I’m honored to serve on the Board of Directors. As many of us know, childhood obesity has become a national epidemic. It it is especially rampant among minorities and lower income groups. FoodFight’s goal is simple but audacious: We plan to revolutionize the way kids think about food and its role in their lives. Focusing on issues of food politics, media literacy and critical consumership, we want to educate a new generation of students who recognize and use their power as consumers to make healthier eating and buying choices. Join us in the fight against childhood obesity. Please check our website: www.foodfight.org to learn more.
